A honeybee flies into a Rose of Sharon blossom for some pollen to take back to the hive to make some yummy honey!! My Rose of Sharon bush is loaded with blossoms this year and the bees and hummingbirds are enjoying it immensely.
Great capture of ingoing flight! I have never seen one of these bushes(?) in real life. I love the center of the flower, the pattern of the reds and greens is beautiful.
@archaeofrog - Thank you Katie!! I took a lot of shots to get one in flight and in focus!
@lynnb- Thank you very much Lynn! There are a few varieties of these. This bush has a darker pink blossom, but other that have come up from seeds from this bush are a lighter pink.
@jenniferruge - Thank you so much Jennifer!! As I mentioned to others, it took me a lot of shots before and after I took this one to get everything in focus that I wanted!
@kdei - Thank you Kim!!
