The word of the day was "Groundhog/Shadow". Of course Phil didn't see his shadow today which means Spring is just around the corner! If you really believe that. And since Phil couldn't see his shadow there were no shadows to be seen around my area either. So, I had to create one. I know that if a photographer was doing a layout for a perfume they would accentuate the product through lighting and there more then likely wouldn't be any shadows, but here is a perfume bottle and its shadow.
I agree, a professional product photographer would focus purely on the subject, anything else would be a distration, but in many cases I believe a shadow acutally enhances the image. Nicely done.
