We took our granddaughter to Living Treasures. With the cooler weather the lions were much more active than the last time we went. The roar of this guy was heard throughout the park. His name is Cash.
@milaniet - As I mentioned in my commentary we could hear him before we even got to him. In the past it has been his mate that has been doing all the roaring. On this day they were moving around more in their paddock. He finally settled down posing like this but there was a lot of reflections off the glass. On each side of the main window are windows that are at 45 degree angles that you can shoot through and drastically reduce the reflections. When I moved over and raised my camera his focus locked on me. That caused the hair on the back of my neck to stand up. I knew I was safe but knowing that he had focused on me brought on a rush of adrenaline.
