At The King Tut Exhibit

My wife and I went on a bus trip to Columbus, Ohio to see the King Tut Exhibit at the COSI Museum. (Pronounced, Kohseye))
COSI stands for Center of Science and Industry.
Behind us is a large mural depicting King Tut in white on the right wearing the crown. The "god" on the far right is waving something that will allow King Tut to be able to eat in the underworld.
All the other characters on the left of Tut are other gods who are welcoming him
Our thanks to Bill for taking this picture of us.

Needless to say, my posts will be devoted to our trip for the next week or so?
Interesting. I saw the exhibit in New Orleans back in 78.

@ggshearron - I actually did think about you. I didn't know how you would feel about trying to find me among a bus load of people. As it turned out, I started getting a sore throat the morning we left and as time passed my head filled up. Fortunately, my wife hadn't shone any signs of contracting it from me. I've been praying that I didn't pass it on to anyone else either. I felt miserable. Not so much while I was there, but when I got home.

I'd like that a lot! I fell in love with Columbus. This was my first time there that I didn't have to drive and was able to enjoy seeing the city leasurely.
I loved the skyline. I'd love to go back and take some more pictures. Since you live there you would know the best places to get the best perspectives.

They took us to Buca di Beppo for dinner. I'd go back just to eat there again.

That is so interesting and the mural is beautiful. We were at a museum in Columbus many years back and enjoyed it. It was a lovely museum.

@skipt07 Great! I work 6:30-3:00 until 12/1/23 which will be my last day working before I retire. When/if you head back this way, lemme know! By the way, where do you live?

@ggshearron - I live in northwestern Pennsylvania. Approximately 18 miles east of Youngstown, Ohio. Almost 3 hours 189 miles from Columbus.

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement,
