Northern Mockingbird by skipt07

Northern Mockingbird

With all the snow and unseasonably cold temperatures three and possibly four mockingbirds showed up at our suet feeder. I say possibly because we never saw four at one time, but we saw three. Two were mates as the male didn't chase her away. We have never seen them at our feeder before this. I found out they are bullies as they would scare away other birds they determined to be threats to the suet. The male even took on a Rose Breasted Woodpecker which is a good sized bird. I took the liberty to practice compositing in PhotoShop. I did a number of different backgrounds but settled on this one as it seemed to work well with the bird's colors.
Thank you all for your tremendous comments and faves of my Winter Wonderland Deux and getting it on the PP!

Pretty bird (even if a bit of a bully). Like the background and the way it echos that touch of brown in the eye.

My favorite friendly bird - we don't have them in the backyard, but see them along my daily walks. Love the way you've edited it. Gives some wonderful textures.
