When I was in high school I played basketball and I followed basketball. Back then one of the powerhouses in college basketball was St. Bonaventure. I don't recall knowing where St. Bonaventure resided. On our way back home from seeing Jonah and hiking at Ricketts Glen I decided to take I-86 through New York State. We started feeling a little hungry and I got off exit 26 for Rt. 16 for Olean, NY. After getting a bite to eat I started back to get on I-86 when we saw the sign for St. Bonaventure. I turned around and pulled into one of their parking lots. We noticed a number of families walking around campus heading to this building. We wonder if it might have been, Parents Day. Then a car pulled in and a monk got out. I waited until he got into the frame and included him. St. Bonaventure was founded by the Franciscan monks and named after Saint Bonaventure (Italian: San Bonaventura; 1221 – 15 July 1274), born Giovanni di Fidanza, who was an Italian medieval Franciscan, scholastic theologian and philosopher.
