Talk Like a Pirate Day is coming soon, I think, but for today I'm just going to look like a pirate. Had cataract procedure this morning, have to wear the shield and patch for at least a day. The what seems like hundreds of eye drops daily...

One day I am sure I will need that too. Sounds scary having your eye operated on. Tomorrow will be a new and clear day!

Hope all went well Liz and you are soon seeing perfectly, my wife had both eyes done one in February the other in April this year, she had no problem and is amazed how well she can see colours and is now back driving:)

Thank you all for the good wishes. I notice a bit of an improvement already and the doc says I can expect more. The eye drops are a pain, but necessary.

I had it done years ago and the optometrist says I need one eye done again in a year or so. I'm sure you will see a lot better soon.
