Very good choice. My name is always listed as 'from the Scottish surname, Leslie'. Boo!

@tinley23 The Scottish surname book has quite a long entry about "Leslie" which boils down to "its origin is rather obscure, but could be from placenames in either Fife or Aberdeenshire" and that there was a barony in Aberdeenshire as long ago as the 12th century with the spelling "Lesslyn". My own family (Dad's side) came from around the Aberdeenshire Leslie. I've even been there!
