a window on the sunny side by summerfield

a window on the sunny side

horribly cold and irritatingly miserable this morning with over cast skies and nasty winds. we were by the lake again where we saw the swans last weekend. the water's edge was rife with ice sheets. behind us was the sunnyside pavilion (gus ryder swimming pool) and i was directly in front of one of the pavilion's large towers. i liked what i saw and i shot what i liked.

Stunning detail on the pillars, around the flag pole and the top railing. Great when viewed large!

@claireuk - brunch, it was! hahaha! thank you, claire.

@ruthmouch - thank you, ruth.

@sarasdadandmom - no, terry. it's actually part of like a community centre, right next to it is a large community swimming pool. the pool and the building are both closed for the winter and won't be opening until probably mid-spring. thank you, terry.

Wouldn't mind being on the sunny side of anything right now! We had such a nice day with the sun today- I hope it sticks around for a while. Good shot!
