the shadow of its young self

not an impressive shadow for today's element, but it intrigued me when, when viewing this in my evf, i couldn't 'see' where the shadow of the little flower bud was. i'd take the camera off my face to look and i see the shadow but with my eyes through the evf, it was difficult for me to distinguish what i was aiming at. i like that the shadow is almost that of a different thing other than the bud. to me it looked like the hat in the book "le petit prince" by antoine de saint-exupéry.

I noticed that straight away - about the bud but then saw where the light was coming from! The shadow looks like one of your hats!

It does look like a little hat- hmmmm- maybe a fairy hat, hence the trouble seeing the shadow in the view finder. They were playing tricks on you!

Very smart hat shadow! Initially I couldn't see the bud's shadow but then I realised that I was looking in the wrong place.

Beautiful light, color and texture in this one! The shadow is definitely a hat and so fitting that is should show that way for you! The bud itself looks almost like a crown!
