we were looking for the henry wadsworth longfellow museum in downtown portland (maine) and the car's gps brought us to a dead end. turned out it was actually in the portland museum so need to go back there tomorrow morning before leaving. saw this on the drive by. i thought school had just started, so i couldn't understand why these student-looking types were all glum and depressed like they flunked all their major exams. tee-hee!

This is the art district of Portland. Aren't artists always glum. The museum as you must know by now is a little house surround by a few tall buildings (tall by our Maine standards). We should have had a 365 meet in Portland this weekend you were there, I live nearby, @dianen lives in South Portland and @Featherstone was on a cruise which docked Saturday in Portland. LOL That would have been a blast if not very practicable.
@joansmor Ken and I used to come to Portland frequently when he was working, and I was often on my own to go exploring this area which I loved! Perhaps we can come back through there one day and I would definitely love to have a meet up! *LOVE* this beautiful #7 Vikki! Now I want to return to Maine!
