do you see an E or do you see an E? this is actually the fencing of an overhead railway. it's so plain what with the drab grey skies so i overlaid it with one of my sunflower shots from last month. i wanted something pretty but if i can't find it, i will make it. savvy?
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
Oh, yes, an E, and possibly an H, if you cannot find one and you flip it 90 degrees!! I found out soon enough that I should photograph letters whenever I locate them, regardless of the date, and post them when the time comes! That's kind of the way I shop for clothes....I hate having to search for the perfect outfit for a special occasion, so I buy it when I see something I like, and hope that a special opportunity to wear it will present itself sooner or later!! Or, at least that's what I tell myself!
@panthora - i think we were separated at birth, my friend! because that's how i think, too, with my clothes. also, when i see one i like, i buy it in bulk. well, not really in bulk, just two or three, and mostly in different colours. :-) i have shot a few letters and will post them as the day comes unless i find something else that's more interesting. thank you, my friend.
@summerfield ;-))))) Yes, you, me, and Louise @Weezilou, we were separated at birth, drifted apart, and somehow providence blew us back together in this site!! Amazing how that happens, and grateful!!
@panthora@summerfield OMG you two! You are going to LAUGH! (Vikki, did we have this conversation while you were here?) My favo(u)rite clothing store was Coldwater Creek because everything fit perfectly, I loved the style (traditional) and the colors! Though my closet was full (imagine that!) i went on line when they were going to go out of business and bought *everything* I liked! Ken would ask, "Don't you think you have enough?" I replied that since the styling was classic, I would now have my wardrobe to last until the day I die! And I'm serious! When I was laid up after the injury, I asked Ken to lug the box downstairs as I wanted to select something new to wear! ANd when I was just home, I picked a couple of fresh items to bring back up here. Considering the relative savings, it was a very inexpensive wardrobe for the rest of my life! (Note to self: Beware of cute little friends who come bearing Chocolates!) (Took three of them today when I went to have coffee with friends! Your gift is making many people happy! ♥ and ♥ ... one for each of you! (OK...out of time to comment...Ken's waiting for me to make curried corn to go with the scallop dinner...)
@summerfield@Weezilou OK, you guys, I was thinking of both of you today as I found the most gorgeous outfit at Macy's, an exquisite set with a long red skirt and a hot pink top at a ridiculously low price, and just had to have it!!! I don't have ANYPLACE to wear it, and it might just sit in my closet for a long while (or, I might take a selfie in it), but it was just impossible to pass up!! I just HAD to share as I knew you would understand! Love you both!! ;-)))))
@panthora Priceless, Missy! Yep, I get it! Sounds like there ought to be a cruise in your near future to pair with that outfit! (And just try to find the right outfit when you're actually about to *leave* on a cruise! You did it absolutely right! AND "rediculously low price" has my name written all over it, too! Well done! Well done!
@summerfield@panthora I don't have that need... Remember, I have my "wardrobe for a lifetime" already :) Actually, I hate to shop for clothes, which is why I buy a lot and then I'm done with it! Now get me in a decorator shop or at a flea market, and I could spend all day there! (I have no more room for anything however, you understand... And Ken points that out often!)
@Weezilou@summerfield I don't know about you Vikki, but I collect and hang on to many building materials, too...tiles, light fixtures, whatever, just in case I will need it for something someday! Decorator shop would be a fun place to browse through... @stray_shooter Ron, you are stretching it with the swastika! Even if it is was a religious symbol in Hinduism, and associated with auspiciousness!!
