prelude to december

for tonight, it was either this or a selfie. but it's wednesday and it's lottery night, with 21M jackpot. i didn't want to jinx my chances of winning by posting a selfie. so if i don't win tonight, you get the selfie posting tomorrow. it's a threat, not a promise.

i have to post something so i don't get to see the 25 cents photo anymore. it creeps the heck out of my wits every time i see it. it looks like a face. smiling at me. with red eyes.

i put up a string of fairy lights along the ledge of my station. the ball is from my friend kim's decor, it fell off so i thought i'd immortalize it along with the fairy lights. did i threaten you get the selfie tomorrow? well, if i don't get to photograph anything else, you just might get lucky!
