lest we forget

a limited issue of the Canadian 25 cents coin commemorating its veterans on armistice day from a few years back. the precursor to this was a lone red poppy in the obverse, the first time some coloration was used in the country's minted quarter coins. since then, several commemorative issues with different colours relevant to an important event were issued and are now in circulation.

a quick snap and upload. used my raynox macro filter (this was not cropped).

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
nice angle and macro. I like the background too, looks like it's floating on a cloud

You did a great job with the filter getting it all in focus. I don't think any of our US coins have any color.
