do you hear what i hear? by summerfield

do you hear what i hear?

the sense of audition or hearing is the ability to perceive sound by detecting vibrations, changes in the pressure of the surrounding medium through time, through an organ such as the ear.

i am sensitive to sound. it bothers me when people in my office are gossiping and whispering because i could still hear what they're saying. i use an ear plug to muffle sounds around me, i don't ever use them to listen to music or anything (very rarely if i do), and to protect my ears from the cold as i am prone to ear infection. in my first job here in canada, some girls were having affairs within the office and they would talk in the washroom, not minding me because i have my ear plugs on, or they probably thought i couldn't understand english. good for them, i don't repeat what i hear or what i know. well, only sometimes. :-P
