didn't know they grow on trees! by summerfield

didn't know they grow on trees!

this made me do a double take. normally, i'd be looking for whoever owned these and tell them to have some respect for the tree. but there was no one around that part of the beach. you'd think these had been forgotten but who'd forget their shoes? it amused me quite so, however, such that i had to take a picture just for the sheer pleasure of seeing it.

taken at the beaches near the harris filtration plant last sunday.

a three-fer: for the eye of the beholder challenge, the six-word story challenge, and the weekly theme-forgotten.

and then i forgot that i was going to do a self-imposed challenge of black and white august, but this would be more appreciated in colour, don't you think?

I think they'll be back for the boots.

This IS much better in colour than B&W. Excellent DoF with the lake just out of focus.

Definitely better in color. I do think they will be back for these. Good find.

A superb composition. It would fit in well with the series Bill does about clothing found in parks. At any rate it makes a great shot for three different challenges!

Absolutely need the calming blues of the sea and sky on this one. Is there someone still out there perhaps.

I don't see any head bobbing on the water in the distance. Who knows what's going on.
