one of the partners near my desk got a large gift basket from one of his clients. he opened it to divvy it up among the other lawyers and staff. there were chocolate, wine, cakes, cookies and other stuff. he told me to get whatever i like. when i asked if i can have the ribbon, he chuckled and with incredulity said, "all these stuff and she wanted the ribbon!" well, the wired ribbon had this beautiful silk flower, why wouldn't anyone want it? the ribbon just might figure in future photos, at least during the holiday season.
