i was forced to leave my batcave as i had to pick up books that i ordered, as i refused to pay 25$ for delivery, which was more than the price of the two books. so curbside pick up it had to be.
i had to stand for 30 minutes in line before i was told that i had to call a number and give my order number. i was pissed because the email confirmation didn't say anything like that. all it said was to present the order number and the accompanying barcode. after i called the number posted at the receiving table, it took only three minutes and i got the books. so i told my sister to tell my brother in the philippines that until the lockdown is over, i would not be buying any books for him. amazon is just the best to order from but they didn't have the books that my brother wanted.
so this, i noticed up on the ceiling of the underground pathway on the trendy portion of uptown toronto. as you can see there are almost no people as there's no shopping. except of course the liquor store which is just to the left of this. i got a bottle of the local gewürztraminer and a gift card for the lady who looks after my clients' bills.
i passed by a supermarket (a high end grocery store) and got lunch then hopped on the train to go home. train was empty, bus was empty and i'm the only dork who's up and about the city and all i could show for that is this photo of Christmas balls. 🤣
Well this is a wonderful view! I would never have thought of hanging them in such an array and probably wouldn't have noticed them above! Great capture!
Well this is fun. So it seems to me that 25 cents for delivery is very inexpensive. No matter what the books cost, that’s a great price to deliver goods to your door!
