if yesterday's sunrise was eerie, this afternoon's sky had a bit of sinister quality. the clouds behind the skyline were actually over lake ontario (which is just a walking distance from downtown toronto). from my vantage point at home, the buildings seemed about to be engulfed by a giant wave. and oh, that sky just above us was so dark but luckily accompanied by a howling wind which drove the black clouds to the eastern part of the province. and then, of course, it cleared. it's amazing watching the sky from my balcony and i don't think anyone in this building appreciate its beauty and constantly changing splendour. i suppose this is what i pay for the ridiculous rent i'm paying; the living quarters are just a bonus.
perhaps i could take a photo of the sky and the skyline for a whole year and would have enough for an exhibit. obsession with the sky is probably a healthy one, just as addictive, but not in the league of those pesky selfie-takers!
i have put up my fairy curtain lights, the old ones that i couldn't find last year that made me buy a new set. now that i have two sets, i have put up the old set in the living room window just to piss the people in the building across. they have all these fancy colourful lights but none of them have curtain lights.
This is the most impressive photo of this spectacular sky! It looks as if someone painted a swath of blue between the clouds I would love to see your exhibit of a year of sky photos
