for the mundane challenge of stripes and for @kuva 's whiteout challenge.

long train delays, prolonged banking errand, performance review with HR, meeting year-end accounts deadline, multiple printer breakdown, team meeting, clients calling and trips to the post office. i was late coming in to the office and left early in a mad rush to the art store at the other end of town for a sale purchase (couldn't resist it -- a $15 item on sale for $5 but i didn't want to leave it for tomorrow). i'm exhausted and have zero shot of anything. this was the most brilliant idea i have.
