Blue Sky by susiemc

Blue Sky

I noticed that the sun was shining so I put on my jacket and wellies, grabbed my camera, ran outside and looked upwards!
A patch of blue! What a difference it makes. Would have liked one of you running too.

@pamelaclarke Shame I can't do a selfie while running. Yes, a patch of blue makes a huge difference. Can you tell where I'm standing?

You have the most delicious scenery where you live.......I actually think that you had a rest from running for five minutes, took this wonderful picture, practiced the yoga posture Vrkasana and fitted in perfectly!!

@yogisue Absolutely spot on - have you ever tried that posture with wellies on? It makes it easier to balance because there's a bigger area on the ground. Did you notice all the pale green lichen on the tree in the foreground (a hawthorne)? It indicates that the air is very clean.

Are you near the pond and looking up the hill? I'll just pop over and check.

@lynne53 Up behind the what? I'm standing in front and just to the side of the cottage. 'Running' was a bit of an exaggeration, I was moving fast to catch the sun before it disappeared. I can't run in wellies, I can just do Vrkasana postures! If you google that you'll realise I'm talking rubbish.

So pleased you enjoyed some good weather. It's been a sunny week here apart from a couple of days.

@claireuk No, it's actually lichen - a sign that the air is very clean. The tree is a Hawthorne tree.
