The Giant's Head by susiemc

The Giant's Head

This is one of two mud sculptures in The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Sue Hill and her brother Pete Hill created them. The giant's face is made from mud pinned with sycamore twigs and metal stakes support his nose. His skin is planted with Mind Your Own Business and his spikey hair is wild crocosmia. His eyes are made from broken china and glass found on the site.

We had a beautiful sunny day here today but I was really busy and didn't manage to take a photo so I used another Cornwall one instead.
What a wonderful shot and a great piece of art! :)
