Jay's are beautiful but they are elusive and difficult to photograph. This isn't a brilliant shot but it's the first time I've managed to capture a Jay in the garden.
@snoopybooboo@claireuk Thank you both. I actually took this through the glass of the bedroom window. If I had tried to open the window the bird would have been off in a flash.
Lovely shot - as you say a rare chance to photograph a Jay -- well.done !
