The River Wye at Builth Wells

I had to go to Builth Wells this afternoon (about 15 miles away) so I thought I'd have a walk by the river while I was there. I would have liked a swan or two in the photo but I think they were all having an afternoon nap somewhere. This is a view upstream.

It is a beautiful river - last time I came down that way was in the 2007 floods. It looked a bit different then.

@dizzyd Thank you Helen. I decided today that when I go to Builth Wells ( I go to the bank, butcher, hardware store etc) I should walk by the river more often. Watch this space!
