Yellowhammer Male and Female

This was taken on yesterday's walk at Ringstead Bay. It's not often I manage to get a male and female of anything in the same photo so I was pleased.

You've nailed it! that's exactly how you see them - atop and looking round!

@pamelaclarke Thank you Pamela. In the garden they're always on the ground under the bird feeder. This is much more natural.
