View from Church

It was an incredibly beautiful day today so I went for a walk as an alternative to doing my paperwork. Instead of taking a photo OF the little church nearby, as I often do, I took one FROM the church. The trees on the hill in the distance hide a disused quarry. We think the stone used to build our house is probably came from there.
A really interesting shot.

@thresheg @beryl @virtualbrownie @gilbertwood @happysnaps Thank you all for your comments. It was a beautiful sunny day but that snow was showing no sign of shifting so clearly the temperature never got above freezing.

@dizzyd Thanks Helen. I think what you're looking at is a rocky outcrop. If I was to turn 90 degrees to the left then you'd see our house. Check out 21st January 2014 http://365project.org/susiemc/365/2014-01-21. Here I'm further to the left in front of the church, pointing towards the house.

A beautiful landscape, a walk was definitely the better option, I'd want to climb the hill

@oldjosh Thank you Margaret and thanks for the follow. There's definitely no shortage of hills to climb around here!! At the moment I'm waiting for a hip replacement and have difficulty with hills. I struggle to find places to walk which are on the level.
