It was a cold wet miserable day today but I did venture out into the garden with my camera. The Welsh Poppies are just beginning to come out. This is one of the first but they'll be all over the garden soon. Most of them are yellow but a few, including this one, are orange. This was an awkward picture to take because I had to kneel down and hold the camera in a strange position. I was pleased when I uploaded the photos and saw the raindrops on the petals.
