I'd never seen red cowslips until a few years ago when we found some in a very small nursery hidden away in the Welsh Hills. They flower every year and look so pretty mixed in with the forget-me=nots.
@beryl Thanks Beryl. I think they must be cultivated but even so I've only ever once seen them even in a nursery. It's very windy here but the rain has stopped. I may venture outside later.
