I'm home, complete with new ceramic hip. The whole experience was a very positive one and I'm very impressed with the NHS. Sadly the good stories never make the headlines.
I'm being very well looked after and each day I feel a bit better than the day before and I'm getting quite nippy on my crutches.
You'll see a few photos of my helpers during the next few days.....it is half term after all.
Thank you so, so much for all your good wishes. It gave me a warm feeling inside to think that friends as far away as Australia, New Zealand and America as well as here in the UK were thinking of me. It really helped.
Pleased to hear you back home now & the operation went well. Wishing you a speedy recovery..... But no running up those mountains just yet !!😉. The flowers look lovely btw
So pleased the op went well. Just take care not to overdo it. I know how fit you are and that you will recover quickly but take it easy. Let Chris wait on you hand and foot. Hope you have closed shop in the meantime. Those Kilsby breakfasts will have to wait.
