This afternoon Chris and I did a walk in the Brecon Beacons - The Waterfall Walk. It was the longest most strenuous walk I've done for a very long time and I didn't get a single twinge in my hip or leg. I felt I'd really put the new hip to the test and I was very pleased. The walk was 6 miles with a lot of rough ground and very steep gradients. It was worth the effort to see the amazing waterfalls but I'm VERY tired now.. There were four (you'll see them all!)
A gorgeous scene -- I love natural tumbling waters and this looks a lovely place for a walk ! I am sure you were chuffed that you had no problem with your new hip ! --Well done !
Wow that's stunning. It sounds like you're doing really well, Sue. I'm not up to tackling anything that strenuous yet, but will definitely have to check this walk out when I'm fit again
