We went to Hereford yesterday and for most drive home there was an amazing sunset. Of course wherever it looked particularly good there was nowhere to stop but Chris managed to find somewhere to pull over while there was a bit of colour left. The 'blobs' in the trees are mistletoe.
What a great shot. We have mistletoe occupying trees in Australia, but we never see bare trees with mistletoe inhabiting them, because our trees are natives.
@brennieb@gijsje@onewing@merrelyn@beryl@happypat Thank you all for your comments. I was very surprised at how well this came out - I was in a muddy lay-by peering over a hedge and the light was fading fast. The 'blobs' are mistletoe, Pat, not nests.
@susiemc dwell Sue I would never have guessed even though I now read that, I must have had my eyes shut! They loook so like those rooks nests. Mistletoe is much nicer!
