Buddleia

Today was much more like autumn than summer. I went out into the garden to find some colour. I hadn't realised until today that this buddleia was flowering. We have several and this is the first one to flower. Hopefully we'll get some sunshine soon and then the butterflies will come

Everything seems to be flowering very early this year. That's lovely !

Same here such a nip in the air ! I have a couple of buddleias ,but mine are not quite in flower yet Love the little red eye in the centre of each purple flower . Any butterflies around yet ?

@gijsje It's a pretty one isn't it. It seems to have suddenly flowered overnight!

@boatman137 I think this must be an early variety. We have several buddleias and none of the others are anywhere near flowering. @beryl Not at the moment Beryl. We had a lot of orange tips early on but they've gone and there aren't any just now.
