When Chris went to buy a turkey from Tesco they had very few left. He couldn't get a small one. It's just as well we both like all the things you can do with leftover turkey because we have a lot of it.
It's been a strange Christmas Day with just the two of us. It's the first time in 43 years that I haven't been with any of my children on Christmas Day.
my goodness! what a whopper. Looks like Chris can hardly wait to tuck into it. We had to rely on Skype to see our children too although we have spent a few days up in NSW with Keith's elderly parents and are travelling home through Mebourne to spend a few days with daughter Elizabeth and our Grandson Obi.
What a whopper of a turkey! How about Turkey Potato Pie, Turkey & shallot rissoles, Turkey fritters, Turkey & cranberry sauce toasted sandwiches....Happy eating..
That happened to us a couple of years ago. I realize how lucky we all are to have had their company for so many years. Last year Ed and I took a bottle of Cava down to the beach( it was warm in Spain although it isn't always) .

Yes, must of been a strange day. Tides of change.
