We're here in West Sussex to collect Freya (our granddaughter) but we're actually staying with Martha, our daughter.
When Martha and Rosie moved into their little (rented) house about a year ago this was just a messy little yard full of dead leaves and other detritus. Martha has worked hard, with a bit of help from Dad, to make it look really nice. Not only do they have flowering plants but tomatoes and peppers too. Martha is worried that she's turning into her parents, she actually enjoys going to garden centres now :)
I was going to say,,,she is following in dad & mums footsteps regarding the garden! It’s a credit to them & so much nicer than just sitting out in a bare yard. Lydia has a yard at the back not unlike the size of this but surrounded by stone walls, it’s a bit cold looking at the moment. She has two pots of flowers I took up for them.
