This is just north of Haywards Heath, West Sussex, where Martha lives and where we're staying for a couple of nights.
The viaduct is spectacular! It carries the London - Brighton Railway Line over the River Ouse. It was designed by the principal engineer for the line, John Urpeth Rastrick in association with the architect of the London to Brighton railway, David Mocatta and construction commenced in 1839. It is a very fine example of Victorian engineering and a dream for amateur photographers like Martha and myself. We had a fabulous time today.
