My friend Nicola and I met in our favourite coffee shop today to exchange Christmas presents. This coffee shop (in our favourite garden centre) does the very best scones with jam and cream and the very best toasted teacakes (the size of dinner plates!) No prizes for guessing who had the scone on this occasion. It helps with the stress of getting ready for Christmas 😁.
Guess I'm lucky that I'm no where near that coffee shop, so I can't just run over and join you in scone indulgence. This way, at least I can still zip my jeans.
I would be spoilt for choice but would pick the teacake....I seem to have gone off cakes & sweet things.....oh all except anything with choux pastry....sounds a lovely day, we did the same!
