Thank You Storm Ciara by susiemc

Thank You Storm Ciara

This large pot with a conifer growing in it blew over and smashed and the mini greenhouse blew over, lost it's side panel and ended up in a jumbled mess. Actually I think we got off quite lightly, other people have suffered much more damage. It's been horrendous today.
even thought that breakage is sad, I'm just glad you are all ok!

Thank you KG. The weather has been quite scary today. I haven’t been outside except briefly to take these photos. I think the worst of the storm may have passed so we’ve been very lucky. Our damage can easily be fixed/replaced.

Great record of the day - I also had causalities , two large pots with firtrees on their sides , the bin and other pots scattered !

Very unfortunate but as you say could have been lots worse!

I went out for a short walk and was buffeted about by the wind. I really enjoyed it but I don’t think it’s been as bad over here.

Sorry to see this even if the damage is trivial. The conifer would not mind of you get a pot slightly bigger. Lovely capture. Recently I met a man who is named Conifer - strange name for a person.

Glad it wasn't any worse. We were ok here.

I'm glad that you're ok and didn't sustain more serious damage.

I'm afraid it's a sign of things to come with climate change. On the plus side, I now have extra garden furniture in my garden (somewhat broken) curtesy of my next-door neighbour and the wind
