So pretty , this does happen depending on the soil acidity - I bought a blue lace cap some years ago and it changed to a pink one ( I wonder if the nurseries treat them to produce blue to sell !! )- Alas this year Gary had to pull it up as it has seen its best days - gone all woody and the frost got it !!
@beryl@gardencat@merrelyn Thank you for your comments. I think Beryl is probably right about nurseries treating the soil to create that lovely bright blue. If our blue lacecap really wants to be pink then I think weโll let it be. It is pretty. We do have another blue one, which I posted a few days ago, which is in another part of the garden. Weโll see how that goes.
