Tantalisingly out of reach............again!

This happens every year, the best blackberries are always out of reach. These might look quite close but they're growing over the fence at the back of the pond and quite inaccesible. I used the long lens.
The birds will enjoy them and I'm quite happy about that.
What a nice treat for the birds. Cool pic.

A bumper crop Sue! Lovely the way they are hanging there over the fence!
I’m looking at these blackberries with mixed feelings as the bungalow we are moving to has had no attention for about three years & is covered with brambles all round the beds & overgrown trees.
It’s going to be a case of wading in there with a spray then a bush wacker to get rid of them...they are hard to shift as they sprout from under the soil.

oh isn't it always the way! you need some kind of extension arm and bucket gadget, or magic would do it ....

They look very enticing and I would prefer eating them myself than leaving them all for the birds - a 50 -50 share would be best.
