This photo made me smile when I received it from Emily's Mum. If you look closely you can just see a skirt at the top of those very long legs 😂😂.
How typical is this of an almost fourteen year old going to school. Emily is just starting Year 9.
The young ones all seem to go through a micro skirt phase. I don't feel all outraged on the modesty front but I do find that the look is so out of proportion and awkward looking. Still, I'm old and certainly have no idea what passes as beautiful or fashionable these days.
ahhh in my high school days we would have to kneel on the hard tarmac and the teachers would measure how far from our knees the uniform was and they would rip the hems down if too short!
@koalagardens I suspect that once she got through the school gate her skirt wouldn’t stay this short for long 😂😂. I guess we all tried it on at that age, l know I did. Emily was probably making a special effort because she knew this photo was for Grannie.
