.......so we thought it would be nice to light the woodburner.
Our house is a new build and therefore very well insulated and the underfloor heating is very effective so we don't often light the woodburner. When it's very cold we do light it and it's lovely and cosy.
I took this photo yesterday evening, it's not so cold today.
When we do our bungalow up it will also be very well insulated plus facing south with big windows. Underfloor heating & our architect said we won’t need a wood burner but we’re having one...love the cosy warmth. We are used to one & would hate to have no focus point to look at in the winter. He might very well be right but we will have the choice whether to light it like you!
