We had an outing to the depths of Mid Wales and visited these lovely gardens near Welshpool. The magnolias and camelias had suffered badly from some recent frosts and it was a little early for most of the rhododendrons and azaleas but it was lovely nevertheless and we were the only people there. We felt very privileged.
