Some of you will remember that I'm a bit disappointed with a hamamelis which we bought two or three years ago. The flowers are a kind of rusty colour and a bit dull. I really wanted one which had much brighter flowers. Today we were walking through the plant sales area at Hergest Croft Gardens and I saw this one. It was a bit expensive but I couldn't help myself. It's just what I wanted. The variety is 'Harry". It will go in a big half barrel in the front garden. I'm a very happy bunny.
