Across The Mersey to Liverpool

We've been away for a couple of days visiting friends in New Brighton. This is the River Mersey at low tide looking across from New Brighton to Liverpool. We had a lovely walk along the promenade in the sunshine.

We go to stay on the Wirral with an old university friend from Liverpool University in July. We stay at Bromborough. I don't know New Brighton. We met in the Anglican Cathedral in 1968!!

@onewing New Brighton became very run down but now it’s up and coming and thriving again which is good to see.
