A much more recognisable image of the fern spores compared to yesterday’s close up.
Before I got my new old camera and started this project, I hadn’t really looked close at the fern fronds or give much thought to the purpose of the little brown spots found on them. I never even noticed the little warty jazz hands waving enthusiastically at me, how could I miss those!

Hi ,brilliant capture and detail, showing all the shades of green, very interesting Fern and spores. makes me want to go and look under my plants to see what I have missed lol
You show the spores well in this. I tried a close up at the weekend but thought it didn't make much of a picture. much better to have more of the plant. Fascinating little video clip you found. It is true, with a camera in hand, we learn to use our eyes so much more effectively.
