Today I have not set foot out of the door, so rather then using the option of the holly berries in full colour, I've had a go at the MFPIAC challenge.
The theme for this challenge is sunrises & sunsets. I do love a sunset and sunrise but have not taken many, and the only ones I have took have either been in the village or on the Humber bank. I have yet to capture a sunrise.
As the locations were pretty much the same, I've took a little different approach and tried to line up the foreground to give some coherence.
Details of the challenge are here if you fancy having a go https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30912/my-favourite-picture-in-a-collage-mfpiac68-competition
You've captured some awesome looking colors hear. And put together a beautiful collage. Very nicely done. A sun rise is a must Suzanne. There's nothing like being the only one in your location witnessing such an amazing moment. Really sets you up for the rest of the day š I acridly think ice captured more sunrises than sunsets šš
@paul10 Thank you Paul, I have no excuse, especially this time of year when they are at a fairly social time! I really must make an effort and get up and out there :)
Trust you to come up with something creative and different when putting a collage together. I was going to put in a few entries but mine will be totally boring with just 6 shots of the same size. Won't bother now I've seen this.
Just reading through the comments, I am amazed at how many people don't get to see the sunrise. I am just about always up by 5am so I see them all. It is easily the best part of the day - except for that time when you have your first beer.
@terryliv Ha your not sulking are you Poppo? You really must do one, you have some beauties, although I'm not sure how you would narrow them down to just six. I have absolutely no excuse now I'm semi retired not to catch a sunset, I used to see them when I worked but didn't have a camera then. I shall make an effort :)
