I've spent a good hour or so today stalking a mallard around the garden trying to get a shot of the flash of blue on its wing feathers. I did eventually manage to get a few nice shots, they even had water droplets in the right place.
After all my efforts, and the poor ducks trauma, I decided it looked really rather rubbish when cropped.
So today it's more blue sparkles I'm afraid. This is the handbag I had for my sons wedding which will probably never be used again, much like the rest of the outfit. I'm not really a sparkly kind of person but the wedding was at Christmas so I had a great excuse to go a little over the top.
I'm running late catching up on your projects, I hope to do this on my return from supper out in Lincoln. Thank you for stopping by.
It’s too pretty not to use again. But I have one from daughters wedding that will probably never be used again either! Where are you off to for supper?
Well, it makes a cool abstract with the blue sparkles! I would not have guessed what it was. See, you were able to find another purpose for the handbag after all! :)
Very pretty. That is the trouble with wedding outfits isn't it - you get all dressed up in lovely things that you will probably never wear again. I have 2, but can't bear to get rid of them. I have also still got my own wedding dress!
Lovely. I'm sure you could use this bag again - to dress up something very plain perhaps. Sorry to hear about the duck shots - it is so disappointing when you think you have something in the bag and once you upload it, it really doesn't do what you wanted. We have all been there a thousand times. This is a great back up.
