When my son was 28 he finally got a mortgage and his own home. He left behind his blue Ted Baker rubber duck, he was far too grown up to have such nonsense in his own home.
I quite like the blue duck, I'm obviously not very grown up.
Thank you so much for your lovely response to my mini citrus theme in a theme, I was so very chuffed with your kind comments
Big smiles from this cute shot and your narrative to go with it. I like that bubbles that the duck is enjoying too. I still have my children's yellow rubber ducks.
Haa - I love it - who wants to grow up completely anyway. And your little blue duck had a yellow cousin who made the news over here. It was approx. 6metres high and was accompanying a group of swimmers in the ocean in W.Aust - a big gust of wind hit him and he sailed away into the great unknown - last seen heading for Geraldton!! :)
Cute! My DIL loved rubber duckies and had a nice collection in her bathroom while in college. So, for the birth of my first grandchild I threw a baby shower with yellow rubber duckies as the theme. It came out quite lovely and wonderful. Fond memories...
I loved reading your narrative for this. Rings a familiar bell as far as my youngest is concerned. These little ducks seemed to be must have accessories for the young man a few years ago, which I always thought strange, but endearing. Great for your blue shot.
