Shiny ladybird

I was so pleased to see this ladybird today, last year we were well into summer before I saw one, and probably only saw about 10 in total.
Taken with my phone with a DSLR zoom app as my camera can sometimes struggle to focus close up.

Great close up. I have never heard them called a ladybird before. Here in Texas, we call them ladybugs. Ladybird is much more fitting since they do fly away.
