More nonsense for the 52 portraits of me challenge. This weeks theme been Greek Mythology.
This is my attempt at Demeter, the Greek Goddess of the harvest. I'm surrounded by fields where I live, but none of the crops of wheat or corn are high enough yet ,so I cheated and stuck myself in a stock photo, I also didn't really fancy heading out to the fields armed with tripod, and a green throw wrapped precariously around me.
Next weeks theme is Alter Ego. I do believe this challenge is getting harder as we go along.
Also tagging for the composite challenge of space and place although I'm not really sure it fits the theme, I shall maybe try harder later.
Excellent idea and presentation! So glad I stopped this particular one, it's making my head ache just thinking about it, well done for persevering and persevering very well:)
I think this is a perfect fit for the "space and place" composite - after all - you have placed yourself in this wonderful environment. It's a fabulous shot - I love all of your 52 portraits, they are all so well considered and executed. :)
I always view your portraits with a mixture of delight and horror. Delight at what you have come up with for the theme, and horror when you add the prompt as to what we have to do next week! It is useful though! I think you suit running around in a harvest field very well - clever work with the integrating yourself into this one.
